Meet our Principal
Welcome to St Joseph’s Catholic School, Rosebery!
At St Joseph’s Catholic School, Rosebery, we are proud to be a faith-filled learning community where every child is supported to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Through our Catholic values, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment guided by our core principles:
Be Safe – We prioritise the well-being of every student, fostering a secure and caring space where they feel valued and supported.
Be Respectful – We encourage kindness, compassion, and responsibility, helping our students build strong relationships and a deep sense of community.
Be a Learner – We inspire curiosity and a love for lifelong learning, empowering students to reach their full potential.
We offer a Kindergarten to Year 6 education and welcome our early learners through our Birth to Five program, Little Joeys.
St Joseph’s Catholic School is a warm and welcoming community where staff, students and parents participate in the life of the school and parish. As a Catholic school, we nurture the spiritual development of our school community, offering activities that help develop the mind and body, whilst providing our students the chance to share their gifts. Families are invited to join us for Masses and liturgies in the historic St Joseph’s Church, accessed via the school’s main building.
We provide a positive learning environment through a variety of learning opportunities for our students to foster their academic learning alongside their social and emotional wellbeing. We continue our commitment to offering quality teaching and learning that draws on data-informed practice and is aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Good News for Living.
We promote a healthy lifestyle through our Move Well, Eat Well program. Students are encouraged to be safe, respectful learners through our schoolwide positive behaviour focus, and we build resilience in our students through our involvement in The Resilience Project.
We warmly welcome all families and invite you to be actively involved in school life. Whether through volunteering, school events, or supporting your child’s learning journey, your presence strengthens our vibrant community.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
